About Me

Dr. Tyler Kallasy is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has been trained in the concepts of functional movement therapy, pain-free training systems, and optimizing fitness and performance around the common presence of pain, dysfunction, and injuries. Tyler is also an instructor of the Pain-Free Performance Specialist Certification, where he teaches an integrated prevention-based system for fitness and clinical professionals.

Tyler has helped hundreds of patients and clients around the world get past chronic pain and limitations in order to regain movement freedom, confidence, and the ability to take on life without limitation. He does so using a proven system that combines evidence-based clinical techniques and time-tested strength and conditioning principles into a comprehensive program focused on learning, growing, and healing.

Tyler’s coaching/training career began in 2015 at Prime’s predecessor, CrossFit Utica, where he led group classes and taught “Fundamentals” onboarding classes to ensure the new members were prepared to move well and stay pain-free during class.

After graduating from DPT school in 2018, Tyler started his career as a traveling Physical Therapist. This is when Tyler first dove into the digital fitness space, and started taking 1-on-1 remote clients. Since then Tyler has helped hundreds of folks from all over the country become better versions of themselves.

For about 5 years, Tyler and his Fiance, Dr. Courtney Wheeler, traveled the country, practicing Physical Therapy in a variety of settings including, orthopedic outpatient, acute care, and home health.

In January of 2023, Tyler and Courtney moved to Denver Colorado so that Courtney could pursue a career as a Canine Physical Therapist. Shortly after moving, Tyler opened a private physical therapy practice in Arvada, CO.

Dr. Tyler is also an instructor and educator for PPSC, traveling around the country teaching coaches, trainers and clinicians an integrated prevention based system, used to optimize their client’s fitness and performance around the common presence of pain, dysfunction and injuries.

Outside of physical therapy, coaching, and teaching, Tyler loves to get into the mountains, on a trail, or in a tent somewhere in the wilderness.
